You are cordially invited to worship with us this coming Sunday for our "Back to School" prayer service! Bring your children, bring your neighbors children, extend the invitation to anyone you know with children who are currently in school or preparing to return to school. Also extend an invitation to anyone you know who works in a school in any capacity. We will be praying for a safe, successful and happy 2026-2027 school year. We would love to have you join us!

Messiah Baptist Church will once again be taking names of students, schools and staff for our "Project P.A.S.S" (Praying Always for Students and Schools) initiative. We lift them in prayer during the 2026-2027 school year.

We pray for protection, favor, academic achievements, financial favor, school maintenance, school attendance, parent involvement, school safety, student disciplines, teacher, parent and student engagement.

Please share names in my comments so your students, staff and schools can be added to the list.

Tomorrow we will close out the 26th Pastoral Anniversary celebration of Rev. Orville K. Littlejohn and what a glorious celebration it has been. Our guest preacher for tomorrow will be a "Son of Messiah" in the person of Pastor Tellis J. Chapman of the Galilee Baptist Church. We would love to have you join us, service starts at 10:30 a.m.!

Pastor Littlejohn did a beautiful tribute in honor of three special ladies this past Sunday. He presented plaques that read "You will always be a First Lady to me" to First Lady Ramsey, First Lady Gilyard, and First Lady Young. What a beautiful tribute it was!

The celebration of our Pastor's 26th anniversary continues tomorrow. Our guest preacher for the morning will be our Pastor's Pastor, Rev. E. N. Jennings, pastor of the New Providence Baptist Church. Join us in the morning at 10:30 a.m. as we honor our Pastor. See you tomorrow!

Our guest preacher last Sunday, Pastor Wallace Mills, Jr., preached to Pastor Littlejohn with a message entitled, "Man, You ReallyAre Something Else!" He preached a very encouraging sermon that not only spoke to Pastor, but fed all of our souls. Thank you Pastor Mills!
