📝Do you have people in your life who are on the construction team or the demolition crew?

🧱🔨The Bible is the blueprint to build what is important and connect to everything that’s important. Life is built better when you get better spiritually.

🧰📖This evening we’re continuing our series, “Built to Build.” Join us at 7:00 PM for our hour of power Bible Study.

🫵Don’t miss it and don’t let who needs to hear it miss it either. Tell someone and bring someone. We’ll see you soon in the room!

Day 2
Proverbs 18:21

The sermon emphasized that our focus and our speech shape our spiritual “frequency.” Proverbs teaches that words carry real power: they can reinforce fear, spread cynicism, and tear down hope—or they can build faith, create courage, and point people to God. If bad news arrests our attention, wisdom invites us to practice holy attention by choosing life-giving words.

This isn’t denial of pain or pretending everything is fine. It’s refusing to let negativity become your default language and your deepest lens. The gospel trains our mouths to agree with God: He is present, He is able, and He is redeeming. When you speak with faith, you make room for peace in your own heart and you offer stability to others.

Today, pay attention to what you keep repeating—about yourself, about others, and about God. Discipleship includes learning to talk like someone who has been rescued. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you speak in a way that matches the good news you believe.

* What kinds of words have I spoken most commonly lately—complaint, fear, gratitude, hope, sarcasm, encouragement?
* When I’m stressed, what “negative script” do I tend to repeat about my life or future?
* What is one promise or truth about God I can speak aloud today, even if my feelings haven’t caught up yet?
* Who in my circle needs life-giving words from me and what could I say or text them today?
* Choose one “speech fast” for the next 24 hours (no gossip, no harsh self-talk, no doom-scrolling commentary) and replace it with prayer.

🎒📓📝Our children are not statistics, they are standouts!

This school year, they won’t just text but they will be proficient in reading a variety of texts. The only fighting they will do is to focus and the only disruptions they will cause is disrupting the school to prison pipeline.

We’re speaking life over young leaders and achievers. Praying for the safety and success of all children and educators, as they return to school.

Grateful that our church brightened the brilliance of our achievers by equipping them with school supplies and spiritual supplies of prayer, including encouragement for a successful school year!

It takes courage to speak victory in the face of adversity.

Language has the ability to lift you to another level or reduce the level you’re on, based on what you’re hearing and saying. Change what you say and you’ll change what you see.

Day 1 - Mark 16:15

Jesus’ command is clear: the good news is meant to travel. The sermon reminded us that the gospel is bigger than a building, bigger than a service, and bigger than our comfort. Jesus sends “inside people out” so that “outside people” can be brought in—not through pressure, but through proclamation and love.

When life is loud with bad news, the church can quietly drift into being a safe place that never becomes a sending place. But the risen Christ calls disciples to be deployed.

Your life is always preaching a message and you don’t need a platform to obey this command—you need willingness. Ask God to make you attentive to everyday spaces where your presence and words can carry hope.

Going doesn’t always mean far; it often means faithfully. It can look like spiritual courage at work, kindness in your neighborhood, or humility in your own family. As you begin this devotional, let today settle one thing: you are not merely invited to believe the good news—you are commissioned to carry it.

* Where has my faith become primarily private or comfortable rather than outward and mission-minded?

* Who are the “everyone” in my life right now—people I see regularly but rarely speak to about spiritual things?

* What is one ordinary place (work, school, store, gym) where I can intentionally “go” this week?

* What part of the gospel feels hardest for me to speak aloud and why?

* Write a one-sentence version of your “good news” testimony that you could share naturally in conversation.
