When you come to Calvary United Methodist Church you can expect to be blessed. Everyone is welcome in God’s house and with God’s people. Our hearts are open to meeting and fellowshipping with all. We offer Christ to you, because Christ offered himself to us. We offer ourselves as a living testimonial to Christ transforming this world. We are in the City of Detroit trying to make a difference by sh

aring our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness to the Lord. Most people talk about how large is your membership. That is not important to us. Where two or three are gathered together in His name Jesus Christ shall always be with us. We are willing to try new methods with the unction of the Holy Spirit. If you have a willing heart, we can help you serve God using the gifts and graces you’ve received from God. A plus for this Church is that we are not afraid to worship. Worship is contagious as long as it is blessed by the Holy Spirit. We are always ready to extend God’s love to in new vital ministries.We have ongoing ministries like Choirs, Sunday school, Community Meetings, Revivals, Youth Activities, Special Church Outings, Concerts, Musicals, Plays, Angel Food Ministries, Occasional Tutoring Groups, Ministries with Community Organizations, Wednesday Night Bible Study, Weddings, Counseling, Lodge Meetings, and other activities. Please come and join us!
