This year's is different, any trans person could tell you that. There is more visibility than ever, but there are more anti-LGBTQ+ laws than ever before; 400 so far in 2023, more than double last year. is a time when we celebrate and honor the resilience, strength, and beauty of transgender and non-binary individuals. It is also a day to raise awareness about the issues that trans and non-binary people face, including discrimination, harassment, and violence.

The fight for transgender rights is far from over. Trans and non-binary Michiganders still face significant barriers to living their lives authentically and without fear of discrimination or violence. They are more likely to experience homelessness, unemployment, and poverty than their cisgender counterparts. They also face significant barriers when it comes to accessing healthcare, education, and other essential services.

Today we celebrate the beauty of trans people, grieve those who are no longer with us, and continue fighting to create a world where we can enjoy all parts of our humanity. Please consider supporting our work so we can help provide services to those who need it most: https://equalitymi.org/donate/

Treatment Tuesday:

Harmony and Abundance. Joy and Power. Unlimited Life and Love. This is the First Cause, the Universal Creative Flow, the Intelligence behind all that is or ever will be. It is Spirit, the Great I AM, the Love-Above-All-Loves, and it is always flowing and working on behalf of all creation.

I am one with this great Love and I am a unique expression of It. There is no separation between me and this Beloved. Everyone on this planet is a creative expression of Divine Intelligence.

Therefore, I know and affirm that we are in Its world on purpose, and that It is working through each of us everywhere. I accept that each person listens with their ears as well as their hearts, thereby witnessing the presence of the Divine in all. By this, we create an experience in which love and kindness thrive, where first responses are mindful, and where there is consideration for all life in this world.

I give great thanks now for the spiritual vision of a world that works for everyone and affirm it as a reality in Mind.

I release my word knowing in faith that Creative Law has already responded with a resounding “yes!”

And so it is.
