Cass Community Social Services has started a campaign called 1 in a Million. The idea is to ask one million people to contribute ten dollars to support the construction of additional tiny homes, renovations to the Drop-In (Scott Building) and the creation of a community center (in Visitation Church). Holy Week at Cass Community:

Wednesday night choir rehearsal at 6 p.m.

Thursday night Lenten dinner at Metropolitan UMC at 6.
Worship at Metropolitan UMC Thursday night at 7.

Good Friday worship service at 12 noon.
The luncheon will follow worship at 12:45 with a Church and Society speaker who will address immigration and ICE.

Visitation for Louise Travis will be in Northville (The Griffin Funeral Home on Northville Road) from 4 until 8 pm Friday night.
The family hour for Louise will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday and the funeral at 11.

(Tashon McDuffie's grandmother) Lula Polk-Heath's family hour will begin at 9 a.m. and the funeral will begin at 10 at the Greater Community Baptist Church on Puritan.

A memorial service will be held at Cass Community for Anthony Howard. The date and time have yet to be determined.

We are also waiting on information related to Richard Brown's arrangements from Val Brown.
