Jonah Silverstein contacted us over three years ago. Finally yesterday he and his father Richard were able to visit. All the way from Seattle, Washington while in route to Boston they were able to squeeze in a visit to B'nai David Cemetery to pay their respects to his great grandmother Ida Freeman. Samuel Goldberg his great grandfather is also buried at our cemtery but we had no grave location for him. Jonah has done so much family research he was able to show beautiful family photos of Ida and her children. Ann was available to open the gates and it was their first time visiting her grave. Very special......

Ann spent the morning doing some yard work, picking up trash and checking out the repair work that is being done on the fallen headstones. Approximately 17 have fallen in the last two years due to a very inexperienced lawn crew. Look who followed me every where i went. He's beautiful.

Good weekend to get things done! Re-buried the last of the grave markers that David found. Trimmed a lot of branches but have no way to haul them. My Wagon has been broke for over a year now. Grass was finally cut but the lawn crew destroyed some of the American Flags that were on the military graves. So destructive.

We haven't had a headstone installed since maybe 2015? In the last month we had two installed. Both were buried at B'nai David Cemetery one in 1910 was listed as Hilda Friedman and the other was ElsieMae Goldstein 2007. Through family research both were recently located here and both families wanted them to be recognized with their personal gravestone.
