On Sunday, June 7, we were blessed with beautiful weather for a Procession for the External Solemnity of Corpus Christi around DeSales Park after High Mass.
As the members of Ca****la begin their summer break following this Mass, we thank them for singing for the liturgy throughout the year! On the First Saturday of June, we were blessed to once again welcome to St. Joseph Shrine Monsignor Gilles Wach, Prior General of the Institute of Christ the King. Our angelic Magnificat Children's Choir sang the 9AM Solemn High Mass. Canon Matthew Talarico translated Monsignor’s insightful homily on “Mary, Refuge of Sinners” from French to English. After, a joyful reception was held in the social hall to greet Msgr. Wach and to celebrate Canon Commins’ birthday (today). Thank you to the St. Philip Neri Co-Op parents who prepared such a lovely reception.
