We are honored and deeply grateful that Fr. Karl Finkbeiner will celebrate one of his first Masses as a newly ordained priest with our parish community on June 28th. This is a special blessing for St. Augustine and St. Monica, and we are humbled to share in this important moment at the beginning of his priestly ministry. We look forward to welcoming him and praying for him as he begins his lifelong service to Christ and His Church. ✨

As Fr. Karl embarks on this sacred journey, we give thanks for his generous response to God’s call and for the witness of faith he provides to all of us. All are welcome to join us on June 28th at 10:00 a.m. as we celebrate this joyful occasion and pray for God’s continued blessings upon Fr. Karl and his ministry. We know that Monsignor will surely have the best seat in the house for this special celebration. 💜🙏🏾

As we enter Memorial Day weekend, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free. We pray for all military families carrying the weight of loss, and we ask God to surround them with comfort, strength, and peace. May we never take for granted the blessings purchased through such courage and sacrifice. 🇺🇸✝️

This weekend, may we also reflect on the words of Jesus: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” As a faith community, let us come together in gratitude, prayer, and hope. May the Lord bless those who served, protect those who continue to serve, and guide us to be people of peace, compassion, and unity in a world that so deeply needs it. 💜

Today, we celebrate a beautiful and sacred moment as Fr. Karl Finkbeiner begins his journey in the priesthood. What a blessing it is to witness your “yes” to God and to see the years of prayer, sacrifice, discernment, and faith lead to this day. Your ordination is not only a gift to the Church, but a sign of hope to everyone who knows you. ✨

You have answered a calling that is bigger than yourself, and that takes courage, humility, and deep love for Christ and His people. May your ministry be filled with compassion, wisdom, strength, and joy as you walk alongside the faithful, bringing the Gospel to life through your words and your example. The Church needs priests with heart, and today we rejoice knowing that you are now one of them.

And I truly believe Monsignor Trapp would be so proud of you. ❤️ He would be smiling today, seeing the man you have become and the path God placed before you. His prayers, guidance, and influence undoubtedly helped shape this moment, and his spirit lives on through the lives he touched including yours. Congratulations, Fr. Karl. May God bless you abundantly as you begin this sacred vocation. 💜✨🙏🏾

Dear God,

Help me to walk in peace today, even when the world feels uncertain. Remind me that my confidence doesn’t come from circumstances but from Your steadfast love and faithfulness. When my thoughts begin to spiral with worry, help me to pause and remember that You are near and that Your strength is enough for me. “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3)

Help me to choose faith over fear, gratitude over anxiety, and love over frustration, knowing You are guiding each step I take.

In Jesus’ name, amen. 💜🙏🏾

This , we look back with grateful hearts on the love, strength, and care that mothers bring into our families, parish, and community each day. We are truly thankful for all mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, and mother figures who continue to guide us with faith, compassion, and endless support. Your sacrifices, prayers, and encouragement are lasting gifts that shape generations and reflect God’s love in such a beautiful way.

Take a look at these beautiful pictures as we celebrate the joy, warmth, and cherished memories shared on Mother’s Day. These moments remind us of the special bond between mothers and their loved ones and the many blessings they bring into our lives. May God continue to bless all mothers today and always! 💜✨🙏🏾
