What an incredibly uplifting and inspiring Back-to-School Service we were blessed to host today! The energy on the northwest side of Detroit was truly remarkable as we gathered to offer prayers, blessings, and unwavering support for all our students and dedicated educators.

It was a profound privilege to witness such a strong sense of community and to contribute to setting a positive, hopeful tone for the academic year ahead.

This extraordinary event would not have been possible without the phenomenal generosity and hands-on involvement of our cherished partners. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the members of the United States Air Force and the compassionate team from Trinity Health. Their commitment shone brightly, not only through their valuable donations of essential resources that will undoubtedly benefit our schools, but also through their active participation and willingness to roll up their sleeves and work alongside us throughout the day. Their presence amplified the spirit of service and collaboration, making it a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Get ready to kick off the new school year with some community spirit! We're throwing a special get-together this Sunday to celebrate all our fantastic students heading back to school.

It’s going to be a wonderful opportunity for our whole community to come together, catch up, and cheer on our learners. We'll have some yummy treats and refreshing drinks for everyone to enjoy. Plus, for our students, we've got a treat: FREE school supplies and backpacks! Just a friendly reminder that these will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis until we run out, so make sure to arrive early if you want to grab yours!

At 2:30 PM, we'll share a special moment of collective prayer and blessings, sending good vibes and spiritual support to all our students as they begin their academic adventures.

This year, we’re also super excited to give a big shout-out and welcome to our incredible educators! We’d absolutely love for all our teachers to join us for a moment of prayer and encouragement. We'll be wishing them an abundance of wisdom, grace, compassion, and clear guidance for the year ahead.
