Are you searching for joy in all the wrong places? During this sermon, we discovered that joy isn't found in possessions, status, or even happiness—it's found in only one address: the presence of the Lord.

Joy isn't an emotion that comes and goes with circumstances. It's a state of being that remains constant through trials, sickness, unemployment, and heartbreak. The Psalmist declares, "In Your presence is the fullness of joy"—not partial joy, not temporary happiness, but complete, abundant, satisfying joy that nothing in this world can take away.

Stop settling for the fragile substitute of happiness! Jesus offers you the fullness of joy—joy to spare, joy that survives every storm, joy that makes Him the center of everything good in your life. When you stand face-to-face with God, aware of His identity, ability, promises, and faithfulness, you can't help but have joy bubbling up in your heart.

Make Jesus the center of your joy today. He's waiting with open arms.

We live in a world where it's hard to tell what's real anymore. From fake burgers to counterfeit jewelry, deception is everywhere. But nothing is more devastating than being deceived about love.

The quality of love is directly tied to the quality of its source. You can't go to Dollar General expecting to buy what they sell at a jewelry store. The same is true with love. Worldly love is conditional, transactional, fragile, and fear-based. It says "I'll love you as long as..." But real love comes from a real source.

God is the source of real love. He doesn't just talk about it. He demonstrated it by sending His one and only Son into this broken world. Not an acquittal. Not penance. Full payment for a debt we could never pay ourselves.

Real love showed up in your neighborhood, in your circumstances, in spite of your environment. Real love gives you eternal life that starts the moment you say yes to Jesus. It's transcendent, transformed, and triumphant. It changes your status from victim to victor.

God took off His judicial robe, stood next to you as your Father, and paid the fine you owed. That's real love. When you know God loves you like this, you'll never settle for fake love again.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Your name goes in that whosoever.

In a world consumed by darkness—the darkness of division, despair, and distress—I have good news that won't fade with the next news cycle: THE LIGHT STILL SHINES.

No matter what headlines scream at us, no matter what personal battles we're fighting in silence, no matter how dark the night gets—the Light of Christ cannot be extinguished. Darkness tried everything to put out that Light. Herod's decree couldn't stop it. Satan's temptations couldn't dim it. Betrayal couldn't s***f it out. Even a sealed tomb couldn't contain it.

Here's what I need you to understand: Light is everything darkness is not. Light is holy, righteous, true, and eternal. Light dispels ignorance, drives away fear, and gives us hope to see beyond right now. Light helps us realize that trouble doesn't last always.

Some of you are walking through the darkest season of your life right now. Personal failure. Overwhelming struggle. Unwelcome diagnosis. Deep depression. But just like headlights on a country road don't eliminate all the darkness but give you enough light to travel safely—Jesus gives you enough light to make it through whatever you're facing TODAY.

This Advent season, don't settle for the lights on a tree. Don't be satisfied with decorations and traditions. Receive the REAL LIGHT—Jesus Christ, the Light of the World. He's available to anyone who wants to walk in the light.

I'm a witness: The Light still shines through sickness and pain, through heartache and shame, through trials and tribulations. And one day, we're going to a place where this Light will be the only light we need, and darkness won't even exist.

Walking in the light, beautiful light. Ain't it wonderful how the light shines?

Will you let Him flood your life with light today?
