Central was present at Motor City Pride this weekend. We offered love and support at our booth, along with our friends from Dearborn First UMC, and marched in Sunday’s Pride parade.

A full Palm Sunday weekend for Central — Centralites participated in “No Kings” in Grand Circus Park and across Metro Detroit, welcomed 11 new members, and attended the Palm Sunday Path in Lansing.

One way you can respond to SW Michigan communities impacted by tornadoes and storms on March 6.

Historic tornadoes have torn through Cass, St. Joseph, and Branch counties, leaving devastation in their wake. Lives have been lost. Families have been displaced. Communities are hurting.

As Michigan United Methodists, we are people who show up — but right now, only emergency first responders can help. The most loving thing we can do is pray for those affected and donate to our designated disaster response organization, After The Storm. We will keep you apprised of our response and the community's needs.
