We are based in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, a radical guy who turned the power hierarchy of his own time on it's head. Through conversation, prayer, scripture study, art, music, poetry, entrepreneurship, and community organizing, we seek to transform each other and the community we live in.

GIAC is incubating a cleaning worker owned cooperative! A worker owned cooperative is a flat non-hierarchical business where the workers own and control the business. The member owners have the right to vote and share all profits and benefits of the business.

📚CLASE CO-OP EP3📝

Today we’re covering 3 types of voting styles and giving different examples of how to use each. Remember collectives / cooperatives aren’t really democratic unless there are tools for everyone to have an input ie: voting.

Keep in mind the type of voting style used depends on the decision being made and how many people it will impact. That’s going to be our next ep, intro to governance ✨ So stay tuned, Spanish versions coming soon too. Let us know how often you vote in your home, with your friends, or at the workplace.
