*SEASON 2 IS LIVE*

Ever find yourself reaching for a cup of sleepy time tea as a nightly ritual to unwind? Father Damian Torres-Botello SJ does, and it’s these small, meaningful practices that help him nurture his faith amidst a bustling life. Join us for part one of our conversation as Father Damian, a Jesuit and advocate for the voiceless, shares his inspiring journey through spirituality and self-discovery. Listen as Fr. Damian shares about how he tries to Find God in All Things as St. Ignatius advises us to do in the conclusion of the Spiritual Exercises. This is only part one of our conversation with Fr. Damian, stay tuned for a future episode where Fr. Damian shares about his time working at Detroit Mercy!

Tonight, as the sun goes down, our Church will welcome the newest members to the Body of Christ. The Easter Vigil enacts all of our senses – whether it is the light of bonfires lit outside Churches or the scent of incense swirling around – the Church is alive.

We remember in a special way today those who will be fully initiated as members of the Church. For all those who have journeyed though RCIA, may your faithfulness inspire all of us, may your courage be our motivation to bear witness to God’s love, and may the light of Christ shine through you for all to see.

Please share the name of anyone who will be welcomed into the Church and we will pray for them!

"Carrying olive branches and palms is a way of reminding us of the path followed by Jesus, and I invite you to put some on the door of your home. The olive branch is a worldwide symbol of peace and reconciliation between God and human beings, as when a dove carries an olive branch to Noah on the ark as proof of the end of the flood."

"Lent will begin this year for me with a challenge to live more expansively, to view the wonder of the world with joy and gratitude, while at the same time standing in solidarity with those people in need, and hearing the cries of our earth, our common home."

This Ash Wednesday, we invite you to prepare for Lent with this reflection by Sister Lillian Jordan.
