Continuing our recognition and celebration of our community supporters this National Volunteer Month, we’re honored to spotlight someone whose presence brings both impact and inspiration to AFG: Ziggy! 🏆

A loyal partner since the very beginning of our Forgotten Harvest food distributions, Ziggy shows up rain, shine, or sleet to help ensure no meal goes to waste. Twice-monthly, Ziggy joins us during our Forgotten Harvest Community Food Pickups to collect remaining food for extended outreach, helping carry our work forward.

Through his ministry with Messiah Church and his outreach on the streets, Ziggy extends AFG’s mission far beyond our walls, reaching individuals and communities who need it most. Just as meaningful is the energy he brings with him. He's a true light to our staff, always sharing powerful stories and testimonies that remind us why this work matters.

Ziggy, your compassion, consistency, and heart for others make a lasting impact. We’re so grateful for you and all the ways you continue to show up for AFG and the communities we serve together! 💞

WOMEN'S BOWL-FULL OF THANKS GATHERING!

We will share scripture and testimonies. Bring a bowl and be prepared to enjoy a bowl full of thanks and a heart full of sisterhood!

Lunch: Soup, bread, and beverages.

(We'll have bowls if you forget yours. We will provide spoons.)
