Little Moments of Encouragement with Pastor Hailey

Becoming is uncomfortable because God will start changing you before your situation changes. That’s why some seasons feel off. You don’t fit where you used to fit anymore, but you still haven’t fully stepped into who God is calling you to be. And if we’re honest, that middle place can get frustrating. But growth takes process.

Romans 12:2 reminds us that transformation starts in the mind first. God will work on your thinking, your attitude, your habits, and your heart before people ever see the results. We want quick change, but God develops us over time.

The truth is, becoming will cost you something. Some habits gotta go. Some mindsets gotta change. Some people won’t understand the new direction your life is taking. But don’t get it twisted, God is not trying to break you, He’s building you.

Look at Peter. He was impulsive, loud, and flawed, but Jesus still called him because He saw beyond Peter’s current condition. God sees beyond yours too.

So don’t quit while you’re in process. Every setback, every lesson, every prayer, and every uncomfortable moment is shaping you into who God called you to be.

So I’ll leave you with this. Just because the process feels uncomfortable doesn’t mean God stopped working. The pressure may be heavy, but God is still developing you. Ain’t the Lord alright?

Lord, give us strength to trust You while we're growing and changing. Help us not to quit in the middle of the process, and remind us that You’re still working on us every day. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Our first Spring Clothing Giveaway was truly a blessing, and we had such an amazing time. We thank God for everyone who came out to be with us and allowed us the opportunity to be a blessing to them. We’re filled with anticipation for what God will continue to help us do as we seek to be a blessing to the community around SBC.

Little Moments of Encouragement with Pastor Hailey

Some of us keep trying to make God fit inside our understanding. We trust Him until He moves in a way we didn’t expect. But God is bigger than your comfort zone, bigger than your routine, and bigger than the limits you put on Him. Just because you don’t see a way does not mean God ran out of options.

A lot of times the box is fear, disappointment, or past pain. We stop believing for more because life hit us hard. But God has always used impossible situations to show His power. He used broken people, opened closed doors, and made ways where there were none. So stop acting like your situation is too far gone for God.

Ephesians 3:20 says He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think. That means your mind cannot even fully grasp what God can do. Take the limits off God and stop shrinking Him down to what makes sense to you. God is bigger than the box.

Lord, forgive us for putting limits on what You can do and help us trust You beyond what we can understand.
Remind us every day that You are bigger than our fears, our struggles, and every box we tried to place around You. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Little Moments of Encouragement with Pastor Hailey

Some days you feel strong. Other days you feel drained, frustrated, and ready to quit. That’s real. But you cannot let your feelings lead your faith.
Feelings change too fast.

One bad day will have you thinking God forgot about you. One delay will make you question everything. But the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:7 that we walk by faith, not by sight. That means we trust God even when life does not feel good.
David had moments where he felt discouraged, but in Psalm 42:11 he told himself to put his hope back in God. He didn’t let his emotions have the final word.
And some of us need to stop letting fear, frustration, and disappointment preach louder than God’s promises. Just because you feel weak does not mean God stopped carrying you. Just because you feel alone does not mean He left you.
Faith is not pretending you don’t feel pain. Faith is saying, “God, I’m hurting, confused, and tired, but I still trust You anyway.”
So I’ll leave you with this. Don’t let temporary feelings make you forget a faithful God.

Lord, help us to trust You beyond what we feel and stand on Your Word even when our emotions are heavy. Strengthen our faith, calm our mind, and remind us that You are still in control. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Little Moments of Encouragement with Pastor Hailey

One of the biggest issues in our walk with God isn’t if He’s speaking, it’s knowing when it’s actually Him.
Life gets loud. Everybody’s talking, everybody’s got opinions, and your own thoughts can be all over the place. In the middle of that, God is still speaking, but He’s not trying to compete with the noise. If you don’t slow down, you’ll miss it.
And not everything that sounds right is from God. Not everything that feels good is confirmation. Sometimes we say “God told me” when it’s really just what we wanted. That’ll have you moving off emotions instead of direction.
You learn God’s voice through real relationship. Not just church, not just sermons, but actual time with Him. Prayer is listening too. Scripture shows you who He is, so you can tell what lines up and what doesn’t.
God’s voice won’t lead you into confusion or compromise. It might challenge you, but it’ll still bring clarity and alignment. And if it feels quiet, that doesn’t mean He’s gone, sometimes He already told you what to do.
God is speaking. The question is, do you recognize His voice when you hear it?

Lord, speak to the one who is reading this right now. Help them to quiet the noise around them so that they can clearly hear from you. In Jesus' name, Amen!
