The faithful of the Archdiocese of Detroit gathered at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament for the celebration of the Corpus Christi Mass and a Eucharistic Procession with Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger.

On this Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, we gave witness to our belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, following Our Lord in procession and proclaiming the source and summit of our Catholic faith.

May our devotion to the Eucharist continue to deepen our communion with Christ and strengthen us for mission. 🙏

On May 26, Fr. Mark Livingston celebrated the annual Mass for First Responders at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, joining in prayerful thanksgiving for the men and women who courageously dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities.

This special liturgy honored first responders and public safety personnel, including law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical services, and all who place themselves in harm’s way for the good of others. In a spirit of deep gratitude, the faithful gathered to pray for their protection, strength, and continued perseverance in service.

May God bless all who serve, and may He grant peace and protection to them and their families. We remain united in prayer for their vocation of selfless service to the common good. 💙🙏
