Walk Like MADD Detroit is happening on August 27, 2022 at Rochester Municipal Park!
Walk Like MADD is a fundraiser for MADD Michigan, as well as a substance-impaired driving awareness event, supporter get together, and pay tributes to those who have had their lives impacted by this 100% preventable crime. The funds raised through donations, participant registrations, and through team fundraising initiatives support the Prevention Programs across MADD Michigan.
Walk Like MADD is an opportunity to gather with loved ones, community supporters, friends, and other MADD Volunteers and Supporters as we all celebrate the work the MADD Michigan does to create a Future of No More Victims.

Individual Participants are best for folks who plan to participate virtually, meaning watching the live stream and participating in pre-walk activities in august, but DO NOT plan to get their loved ones involved in the actual event are encouraged to do this one. Individual Participants participate in events and ask their loved ones for donations, but DO NOT ask their loved ones to participate with them. If you plan to only have 1-2 people join you at the event as well.
Teams are best for folks who want to involve friends, family, and loved ones. This is great for both Virtual and In Person Volunteers. Team Captains are responsible for recruiting team members and helping them reach their fundraising goals. Your role is to keep your team motivated and encourage them every step of the way. This year we have Co-Team Captains available to co-lead a Team of your loved ones. Your team might be made up of co-workers, family members, friends, and community members. They just need to have an interest in helping MADD Create a Future with No More victims by raising critical mission funds and spreading public awareness. Teams come together for fun challenges, meetup's, and fundraise together to support MADD's mission. Teams all come together on walk day to be with other supporters dedicated to a Future with No More Victims.
