FRIDAY 6:30 AM EARLY MORNING PRAYER
“Do Not Fear, I Am With You”
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” — Isaiah 41:10
Heavenly Father,
as I welcome this Friday morning, I come before You with gratitude.
Thank You for the gift of another day. Thank You for the breath of life, for the gift of another opportunity, and for the assurance that I do not begin this day alone.
Your Word says:
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.”
Lord, today I hold tightly to this promise.
There may be things I do not understand. There may be situations that make me anxious. There may be decisions I need to make, burdens I am carrying, and questions for which I have no answers.
But today I remind my heart:
God is with me.
When I am weak, You are my strength.
When I am confused, You are my wisdom.
When I am afraid, You are my courage.
When I am discouraged, You are my hope.
When I am hurting, You are my comfort.
When I feel alone, You are my companion.
When I cannot see the way forward, You are my guide.
Father, I do not need to understand everything today.
I only need to trust You with the next step.
Lord, take away my fear.
Take away the fear of tomorrow.
Take away the fear of failure.
Take away the fear of rejection.
Take away the fear of disappointment.
Take away the fear of losing what I love.
Take away the fear of things I cannot control.
Help me to remember that fear may tell me that I am alone, but Your Word tells me that You are with me.
Fear may tell me that I cannot make it, but You tell me:
“I will strengthen you.”
Fear may tell me that the road ahead is impossible, but You tell me:
“I will help you.”
Fear may tell me that I have no one, but You tell me:
“I am your God.”
Lord, I place this entire Friday into Your hands.
Go before me into every meeting.
Go before me into every conversation.
Go before me into every journey.
Go before me into every challenge.
Go before me into every decision.
Order my steps according to Your will.
If I am about to make a wrong decision, stop me.
If I am standing before the right opportunity, give me courage to enter.
If a door is not meant for me, give me peace to walk away.
If I must wait, give me patience.
If I must begin again, give me courage.
If I must let go, give me grace.
And if I must walk through a difficult season, walk with me, Lord.
I bring You my burdens this morning.
I bring You the worries I have been carrying silently.
I bring You the financial concerns that keep me awake.
I bring You the family situations I cannot fix.
I bring You the relationships that are causing me pain.
I bring You the dreams that seem delayed.
I bring You the prayers that seem unanswered.
I bring You the disappointments that have wounded my heart.
I bring You the tears I have hidden from everyone.
Lord, You see what nobody else sees.
You hear the prayers I cannot put into words.
You know the pain behind my smile.
You know the battles I fight quietly.
And because You know me completely, I trust You completely.
