There is still room for Michigan youth to join other United Methodist youth from the North Central Jurisdiction for an immersion experience this summer, June 21-27. Last month, members of Suamico UMC (Wisconsin) sponsored a Volunteers in Mission (VIM) service trip to Motown Mission. This EngageMI ministry partner provides short-term mission and service-learning opportunities for youth, young adults, and adults in Detroit. The group participated in community rebuilding projects.
