Meet Anja Peters 👋🏿 a Freshman Nursing Major in the Honors College⠀⠀
What expectations, obstacles or fears did you have about Cru before coming? 🔸 "I was actually super excited when I first started getting to know CRU and the people in it, as I love meeting new people and hearing about new ideas and ways of life. and were the first people I talked with from CRU, and I really saw something of value with the work that CRU does. The rest is history you could say!"⠀⠀⠀
Why have you chosen to get involved with Cru? 🔸 "What I love about CRU are the people and their work in strengthening their relationship with God and helping those around them connect with God as well. These people are vibrant in their faith, welcoming, and truly kind-hearted. They have made me feel so at home in the midst of so much unrest and unease, and I’ve formed some beautiful friendships that I’m so thankful for! CRU is like a funnel of endless God-driven possibilities; they really are a family and I feel that wholeheartedly, although it’s my first year here!"⠀⠀⠀
What advice or encouragement would you give someone who is on the fence visiting or joining Cru? 🔸 "If you’re wondering if you should check out CRU or not, my advice to you is just try it! You can try anything and decide it’s not for you, but it’s good to put in the honest effort of exploring an option before closing the door."⠀⠀⠀
Thanks ! And welcome to the Cru 😉⠀⠀⠀
