Yesterday St. Juliana, together with a group of parishioners from Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, served a meal at Orthodox Detroit Outreach (ODO) in Southwest Detroit. It was a blessing to spend time with the individuals and families who joined us, sharing food, fun, and fellowship.

The day also included a brownie-decorating craft for the kids and beautiful live music by Ken and Dave, which made the meal even more special.

A big thanks to all those who came out to help, made cookies, and shopped for goods! We are also grateful to ODO for this beautiful opportunity to serve one’s neighbor.

Saint Juliana Ministry of Mercy is joining forces with the Holy Trinity Brotherhood to remember and celebrate Mary Ann DeKane on the anniversary of her passing; it is also Meatfare Sunday. Today we made hundreds of pierogi and pelmeni;  tomorrow there will also be pork chops, stuffed cabbage, and much much more! Join us as we remember a beloved member of our parish and our outreach ministry - and enjoy all the good food!

The feast of our patron saint, St. Juliana, is celebrated on January 2. We joyfully marked the occasion this past Sunday with a special cake and anointing using St. Juliana holy oil.

The St. Juliana ministry is grateful to everyone who makes our work possible. St. Juliana, pray for us!

St. Juliana extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made our Christmas visit to Ambassador Rehab possible. Thank you to all who generously donated items or funds, and to those who devoted their time to purchase gifts, decorate, pack bags, and personally deliver them to the residents. We are especially grateful to our wonderful choir, whose beautiful singing brought Christmas joy and smiles to both residents and staff. It takes a village to make events like this happen, and we have an awesome village at Holy Trinity!

The St Juliana Ministry is getting ready for its annual visit to Ambassador Rehab to sing carols, greet residents, and hand out gift bags, coats, gloves, and scarves. We are grateful to everyone at Holy Trinity (and other parishes!) who helped with donations, decorating the gift bags, and filling them with gifts and love.
