Favor. That’s what many of us want. The nonbelievers probably seek favor from anywhere except God. While believers prefer favor from God than anywhere else.

Nowhere else can we find authentically unbiased favor. Somewhere between grace and mercy we find God’s favor. Grace comes to us unwarranted and the mercy we receive is undeserved. Favor, however, is available to us but it has strings attached.

For those whom we ask of favors, the contingency of receiving them is that we remember to return the favor. If the favor is never returned to the one who has shown love to favor you, then it is like stealing sweet waters.

God tells us that we should not steal. It’s one of the commandments He gave to Israel as they embarked upon freedom. Many people have stolen from God because they have not shown God favor in return. If you are facing unfortunate circumstances that leave you in a state of confusion, consider returning God’s favor.

Show God favor in praise rather than procrastination. Show Him favor with worship rather than worthless words. Show God favor with praying rather than playing. We owe God favor because we certainly cannot afford to repay God for grace and mercy.

“Be strong and of good courage” (Deuteronomy 31:6). Sometimes we need to be reassured of the strength and boldness within us. From globalization to localization, we can easily become weakened by the illogical decisions of those in governing places. It is always in our favor to know that we have the Holy Spirit in us to guide and comfort us.

We must also be continuously mindful of God’s presence in us because He provides encouragement, strength and confidence to those who believe in Him. He helps us to find strength in our weakest moments. He protects us in the midst of uncertainty. God specializes in delivering to us what we need when he sees fit.

We don’t always see things as God does. So, as you wait for God, don’t be anxious, agitated or angry for nothing. Don’t feel sorry for yourself or beat yourself down. Don’t fall away from the Lord who has saved you from the self destruction of your soul. Whatever you are going through today, remember that God promised that He will not fail you nor forsake you. He just wants you to be strong and encouraged always and forever.

What a successful Church Cleanup Day! 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to serve. Together, we cleaned the parking lot, refreshed the grounds, and beautified our flowerbeds. Your hard work, dedication, and love for our church helped make our campus look welcoming and beautiful for all who visit.
Many hands truly made light work! We appreciate each volunteer who gave their time and energy to make a difference. 💚🌷🌳

Wisdom for Wednesday✨

This is probably the best opportunity for you to praise the LORD. That is because it is in the moment. It is in the right now moment that you should say, “I love you, Jesus, and thank you for all things.”

We do not know what the next moment will bring in our lives. We can speculate about what will happen with tremendous accuracy but things happen. We base our predictions on past experiences in every phase of our lives. Simple things such as walking, talking, stretching, and such, are based on the history of having done those things before. An interruption can come at anytime and not allow a person to do those simple things again.

Interruptions are life’s best way to tell you to praise God every moment that you can. Praise Him aloud, in silence, in public, in private or wherever your moment comes. In that moment , tell God that “you love Him and you thank Him.” He would love hearing that and it will do greater things for you.

You can go on further praising God longer if you wish because He absolutely deserves it. I just wanted to share the right now moment in praising the Lord because life can interrupt at any time and distract you from praising Him.

Wisdom for Wednesday ✨

Be careful with what you take into your spirit as gospel. The Bible says that we will have people who follow different paths and beliefs because of their itching ears.

We all want to know the truth and many people say they know the truth. Jesus said that He is the way, the truth and the life. He goes on to say that no person can get to the Heavenly Father unless they go through him. As for nonbelievers in Christ Jesus, they will go out of their individual and collective ways to circumvent the truth about Him and try to live their lives without Him.

While nonbelievers claim to know a different pathway to the truth and spend much of their lives deifying Jesus, they miss the most basic part of his message which says, he that has an ear, let him hear. Listen to whatever you want and to whomever you please, but also be reminded that there is only one whose death atones for our sins and promises everlasting life through his resurrection.

Jesus Christ is the only one to come back from the dead to assure us of life after death. He died for us once and he will never die again. Death has no power over Him and the grave could not hold him. The power of life and death are in the hands of Christ. Thank God for Jesus Christ and salvation. If you are saved by the blood of Jesus, yours ears will not itch for anything else.
