The Earth Leaps for Joy
Three days after the earth trembled with sorrow, it shook again - but this time with celebration. The resurrection earthquake wasn't about destruction; it was about victory. As the stone rolled away and Jesus emerged triumphant over death, creation itself rejoiced. This second earthquake reminds us that God's story doesn't end with Friday's grief but with Sunday's glory. Every believer carries this same resurrection power within them. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead is actively working in your life today. When you face your own 'Friday moments' - times of loss, disappointment, or seeming defeat - remember that Sunday is coming. God specializes in bringing life from death, hope from despair, and victory from apparent failure. The resurrection earthquake teaches us that no situation is too dead for God to breathe new life into it. Your current struggles may feel overwhelming, but they're not the end of your story.
Bible Verse
'And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.' - Matthew 28:2 (English Standard Version (ESV))

So not every earthquake is devastation. The Friday quake, yes, but the Sunday quake, hallelujah. What a celebration. - Pastor Mark
