Continuing with our virtue this month, GRIT, we reviewed a story in Exodus. At the time, the pharaoh came up with an awful plan for the Hebrews! But GOD! Jochebed had no idea what would happen to her baby. She didn’t give up, she held on to her faith, and God helped her. She didn’t know it then, but her son Moses, would play a VERY important part in the story of Gods people. This story should remind us to hold on, too, and never give up!

This months new virtue is GRIT, refusing to give up when life gets hard. Challenges in life can be difficult, but we can keep holding on because GOD is with us! A great example of this is Joseph, in the Old Testament! We learned that he faced many challenges, but through it all, God was with him! Stay tuned Kidz, next week we learn what happens next! Amidst all the fun and laughter, the Kidz learned today about how to trust God even when they are worried. They learned to walk out that trust by talking to to God about their worries, taking to their parents about their worries, and obeying God’s instruction regarding what they should do about those things they are worried about. They were assured that both God and their parents would take their worries seriously.
