Pastor Kelvin Peterson and the saints of Christ Community Fellowship DeSoto, TX congratulate our very own Micah Walker (left) who won the Class 4A state title in the 4x200 meter relay at the 2026 UIL State Track and Field Championships last week in Austin, Texas. Competing for Waxahachie Life School, Walker and teammates Tre'Shaun Smith, Tyler Lott, and Kendall Smith finished first with a time of 1:25.66. Micah and brother Jeremiah (right) grew up in CCF and are active members of the Youth Choir and Youth Sunday School. Jeremiah is also an accomplished athlete and student at Waxahachie Life but was injured and unable to compete.
