John is part of the Evangelical Church of America (ELCA) the Northwest Ohio Synod, Maumee Valley Conference. James Wenger. Our Mission statement in short is: "Live Christ". We offer Sunday School beginning at 9:00 a.m. September through May. During the summer months of June through Labor Day we worship at 9:00 a.m. other than the first Sunday in August when we hold our annual Mission Festival in the yard across from our cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Please join us for worship.

9/13- Rally Sunday @9:00 Sunday School-10:00 worship we will be singing 🎶 blessing the backpacks 🎒 and recognizing the nursery class

9/16- Catechism 6th grade @ 4:45 & 7th/8th @ 6:00

We are excited to see ALL the kids back for Sunday school and Blessed to have Pastor Shannon lead Catechism- we are Always looking for Sunday teachers to rotate- please let Ashley, Whitney or Beth know if you’re available 🙏🏻✝️

West End, youth and meeting area

Out with the old and in with the new, the West End is getting an upgrade thanks to the hard work and creative ideas of Paddy Wing and Hope Yarnell!! Current furniture will be donated to Orphan Grain Train the beginning of August.

Before we purchase items, we thought we would ask any congregation members if they would like to donate to these improvements. If you’re interested check out the Amazon list. Items will ship directly to Church any unpurchased items will then be made by the Church August 2. St. John Lutheran Church

Shirt Orders will be closing Friday. Many more available than the VBS design!

Remember every shirt bought helps support St. John’s VBS and Sunday School. It’s not too late to get your orders in. I will start sending invoices this weeks as well. Invoice will be sent in FB messenger. If you have any questions just let Libby know 😌
