Pope Leo announced today that at the advice of doctors he will undergo surgery in the coming days to remove a small, localized nodule at an early stage in his lung. Please join me and the people of the Holy Father’s home diocese in praying for his swift and complete recovery.

May the Holy Spirit guide the hands of the surgeons and may the Blessed Mother hold Pope Leo in the days ahead as he returns to full healthb.

Papież Leon ogłosił dziś, że zgodnie z zaleceniami lekarzy w najbliższych dniach przejdzie operację usunięcia niewielkiego, zlokalizowanego guzka we wczesnym stadium rozwoju w jednym z płuc.

Proszę, dołączcie do mnie oraz wiernych z rodzinnej diecezji Ojca Świętego w modlitwie o jego szybki i całkowity powrót do zdrowia. Niech Duch Święty prowadzi ręce chirurgów, a Najświętsza Maryja Panna otacza papieża Leona swoją matczyną opieką w nadchodzących dniach, gdy będzie powracał do pełni zdrowia.

BLESSING OF ANIMALS | On October 3, we gathered for the Blessing of Animals in anticipation of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, celebrated on October 4.

St. Francis had a deep love for God’s creation and reminds us to recognize all creation as a gift from God and to care for it with gratitude and respect. We were happy to welcome our parishioners, guests and their beloved pets for this special blessing! 🐶🐱🐾

May God bless all His creatures and those who care for them. 🙏

(Polish) BŁOGOSŁAWIEŃSTWO ZWIERZĄT | 3 października odbyło się w naszej parafii błogosławieństwo zwierząt, poprzedzające wspomnienie św. Franciszka z Asyżu, które obchodzimy 4 października.

Św. Franciszek darzył całe Boże stworzenie szczególną miłością i przypomina nam, że świat, który nas otacza, jest darem Boga, o który powinniśmy troszczyć się z wdzięcznością i szacunkiem. Cieszymy się, że mogliśmy tego dnia powitać naszych parafian, gościa wraz z ich ukochanymi zwierzętami! 🐶🐱🐾

Niech Bóg błogosławi wszystkie swoje stworzenia oraz tych, którzy się nimi opiekują. 🙏

Together, we will help prepare and pack meals for children and families in need around the world. It is simple work, but together we can make a big difference!

Yesterday, September 24, at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri, we celebrated the Beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen. It was a historic and joyful moment for the Catholic Church in the United States.

Our catechist, Ms. Anna, was blessed to participate in the Beatification Mass and sent us these beautiful pictures to share with our parish community.

Polish: Wczoraj, 24 września, w The Dome at America’s Center w St. Louis w stanie Missouri odbyła się uroczysta Msza beatyfikacyjna arcybiskupa Fultona J. Sheena. Był to historyczny i pełen radości moment dla Kościoła katolickiego w Stanach Zjednoczonych.

Nasza katechetka, Pani Anna, miała okazję uczestniczyć w tej wyjątkowej uroczystości i przesłała nam piękne zdjęcia, którymi chcemy podzielić się z naszą wspólnotą parafialną.
