Temples of Rest Assembly Church Temple of Rest Assembly is a nondenominational church. Teaching by, and through the word of God. Studying as workmen rightly dividing the word of truth.

We Believe in the gospel which is the "good news"
that there is hope for all human beings in Christ Jesus! Isn't that WONDERFUL? This hope is that God, through his son, has provided a way out of sin! We don't have to be a slave to sin any longer! God through his grace will teach us and equip us with what we need to overcome death, hell, and the grave. All of these
things exsist because of sin. B

ut, we can be made
righteous through Christ and become a NEW CREATION through the
gift of the Holy Ghost! We believe God is a spirit, whose dwelling place is within man. He was first made manifested in Jesus Christ who freely gave
his life as an atonement for our sin. Christ is alive today! When we repent and are baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues our salvation process begins and the Lord himself begins to rule and reign in us just as he did in Jesus. Through faith we obey God's commands as we grow in him. We have a wonderful gift from the almighty creator when he makes all things new! I suppose if we place the kingdom of heaven off in a future far away place, we can surely justify being complacent about behaving as citizens of said kingdom. However, if we believe the King is presently making His abode in heaven (can't have a kingdom without a King), meanwhile making His abode in us (John 14:23), that leaves one place to look to heaven. Yes, you and me.

Most of Christianity is more concerned with being known by a ministry or denomination than by Christ. Looking for an outward manifestation of the Son without, first, an inward one. Denying that Christ IS come in the flesh and the power flowing out of it.

Part of being called out and set apart, as disciples, not conformed to the world's systems, we are not to make our confessions as "products of our environment." But instead, instruments of His glory by the power of Christ in us. Pouring His light into any room we walk into, affecting the environment.

"Christian" would equate to "Disciple"
"Disciple" would imply "Discipline"
"Discipline" would imply "Obedience"
"Obedience" would equate to "Servant"
"Servant" would require a "Lord"
Because He is a JUST God, He gives us of Himself to walk in all that He reveals to us through His word, so that we can be His pure bride unspotted from the world.

Phi 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES in glory by Christ Jesus. (Emphasis mine)

God's heart (will) is we not fall short in any gift. (1 Cor. 1:7) And there is no longer any reason we should. God has, by the giving of Himself, been on full disclosure to anyone who would seek to find Him.

Isa 49:10 KJV They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
Mat 5:6 KJV Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Joh 6:35 KJV And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

John quoting Isaiah here...
Rev 7:16-17 KJV 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

This throne is not literal, but heaven. Heaven is His dwelling place, He currently dwells in His Church, the heavenly Jerusalem. His plan is perfect, what better way to lead, than from within?

Many are freely confessing the freedom of the penalty of sin. Few confess freedom from the bo***ge.

Rom 10:10 KJV For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

This is NOT a one time altar confession. What we believe in our hearts, proceeds from our mouths and is manifest in our lives.

Rom 6:14 KJV For sin shall not have dominion over you

Dominion is lordship. If Jesus is Lord, sin has no part.

Luk 16:13 KJV No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Thank you Lord for your mercy, and loving kindness that forever and ever goes before us, leading us by your grace. We are indebted to you, servants of the most high, yet you give of yourself, making us worthy to bare your holy name within ourselves. Blessed redeemer!
