Broken hearts are like sieves that have trouble holding onto and grasping the love of the Lord. In God's own time, He brings us where we need to be. God Himself seals us in with Christ. But, our minds are not sealed.
Ephesians 3:19 tells us to "know the love of Christ which passes knowledge" that we may be "filled with all the fullness of God". We are to be more enlightened day by day. We know not how to pray as we ought. Only the Spirit knows the deep needs of every one of us.
On the surface, we think that we are fine. But, the Spirit broods over the deep. Jesus has eyes like flame of fire and He sees us through and through. He sees our anger which is equivalent to murder, and lust which is equivalent to adultery and envy which is equivalent to theft, and so on. What we think is kept only in our minds ends up leaking out and becomes part of our actions. Our sin finds us out. Everything outside of Christ is sin. All we can do is come to God in our weakness and we find that He is is in the Divine love which protects, and forgives and delivers us from corruption.
Just as a sieve separates the valuable from the worthless, we are encouraged to let go of all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and slander, along with all malice. But, there can be no lasting cure until we let go of the root cause that fractures our lives. Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength.
God calls us out and separates us. He scrutinizes our path and His winnowing fork is in His hand. He will take us down to the threshing floor so we can get things sorted out. He drives out the delusions of the enemy. He treads down false loves. God separates us from the chaos and the things that cause turmoil within. In the depth of my own emptiness, I heard God's Word and I returned to the One who loves me. 6, 7, 8, 9 is the sealing motions of God's Hand. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, His Blood cleanses us from all of our sins. When a person believes, he enters the Blood Covenant with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. The Blood Covenant is an everlasting covenant that absolutely cannot be broken. When a person receives the Holy Spirit, He seals the person (6, 7, 8, 9) in the Covenant.
The Blood covering of Jesus is a deadbolt that keeps the old man out. We belong to the Lord. He wants us to turn away from the dead end life. He wants us whole and not broken. As the Holy Spirit illuminates the beauty and love of Christ, we increasingly learn to reject the flesh and deepen our rest in the Lord becoming rooted and grounded in Him as our Source of Divine Love. Vessels of mercy carry the Divine Love of God in the heart and the mind and proclaim life saving Truth.
