Our church is numerically and financially small. I don't say that to complain or garner pity. Rather, I say that to give background.

We have always sought to allow the teaching of Christ to Love God, Love Neighbor, and Love self guide us above all else.
A few years ago, as we were seeking to be good neighbors, we were asking "How" and I said, we have lawn equipment, we have mowers, and rakes, and trimmers - things we don't have to buy. All we need is gas and heart. And our people stepped up. During the spring/summer months, we go out in the Highland Park/Oak Park neighborhood and seek out a house and family that need a little help. And we do it.
Six people of varying ability, gave 2.5 hours and did great work for a single dad in need of a lift. I am grateful. As a pastor, as a Jesus follower, and as a neighbor, I am grateful that we can do this.

Triple G — Guys, Grilling, & Grounds!

Pastor Daryle grilled out Cheesesteaks and we organized and cleaned up our garage at the church while trimming some shrubberies(shout out to Monty Python and the Holy Grail)! There were a lot of laughs and relationship building! Come join us next month!

There are so many things associated with summer: swimming, family vacation, school break, and reading, just to name a few. But one thing I love is camping, or just sitting around a nice firepit with friends/family. This summer, Revive Church is bringing back one of our favorite summer series: Campfire Stories! 🔥We'll be telling stories from different places in the Bible as we gather together on Sunday mornings, taking a new adventure each week. So throw on your camping gear (either literally or figuratively) and join us as we kick off our series this week! 🐻⛺️
