We started our Friday with Jesus!

All of our classes attended Mass and then spent some quiet, peaceful time with the Lord in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. What a beautiful way to pause, pray, and begin our day centered on Christ.

In the midst of a busy school year, we are so blessed to create space for our students to be still, listen, pray, and grow closer to Jesus.

Last week, we kicked off the school year by building a strong foundation of expectations, routines, and leadership!

Students revisited the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People from Leader in Me while participating in engaging rotations filled with games, activities, teamwork, and lots of learning! Some games included: Human Connect 4, Candy-land, and Hot Potato!

A special shoutout to our 8th graders, who stepped up as leaders and helped guide the activities each day. Their leadership, confidence, and willingness to serve others set such a wonderful example for our younger students.

What a fantastic way to start the year—learning, leading, and growing together!

Our middle school math students reviewed what it means to be an effective collaborative group! Working together without talking, students had to strategize, communicate through actions, and problem-solve as they put puzzles together.

This fun challenge highlighted the importance of teamwork, patience, listening, and collaboration.

Yesterday, teachers from St. Augustine, Holy Trinity, and St. Theresa came together for a day of professional learning focused on the Danielson Framework for Teaching!

It was a great opportunity to learn, collaborate, ask questions, and grow together as educators. Having a shared understanding of what strong teaching looks like helps us create consistency across our schools while continuing to support each teacher in their own professional growth.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn with and from one another as we continue working toward stronger Tier 1 instruction and, ultimately, better outcomes for our students.

Please register for JMC today!

Although you have already registered for St. Theresa enrollment, another VERY IMPORTANT piece is to "register" in JMC, which is our Student Information System. We have entered basic information for you, but you need to go in and add or change any emails or information, give photo permisson, add emergency contacts, health information, etc.

You must have this done by the first day of school for your child to attend classes. Thank you for your attention to this important step.
