Grace gave $31,332 to Lutheran World Relief in 2025. Our gifts allow LWR to care for others all around the world, spreading God's love globally! Thank you for your servant hearts and unbounded generosity. Hearts and lives are impacted every day because of our church in our small corner of Des Moines. We're humbled by your selfless hearts and generosity that transforms lives daily in Des Moines and beyond.

Confirmation is not a one-time event but a three-year educational and spiritual journey that culminates in a service of affirmation of baptism. It is designed to deepen the faith of youth - helping them live out their baptismal promises in daily life. Our confirmand's put their faith into action with a special faith project - they were incredible! Confirmation is not an “end” but a continual process of being formed and reformed by God’s grace. The goal is for confirmands to know the scriptures and the Gospel through the Small Catechism, understand and live out faith practices as part of their Christian calling, and experience Christian community with mentors and peers. We celebrated our confirmands last weekend - and we send them forth with blessings! We will be lifting you up in prayer as you continue to flourish! Go with God! Flourish with faith!
