For the purpose of clarity, becoming a truly converted Christian involves changing your behavior. it means that you stop purposely sinning. If you repent and pray the Sinners prayer yet continue to live a life of sin, guess what maybe you were never truly saved..The problem with the Church today is this phenomenon, a host of Leaders and members of the Church are guilty of this as if it's business as usual... If we continue in sin, after we have asked Jesus to be our personal Savior, are we really in a saved relationship, are we converted? "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins." Hebrews 10:26. Some proclaim once saved always saved. The people who believe in and teach once saved, always saved also use the term "eternal security". What does the Bible have to say about eternal security or once saved always saved? Nothing, absolutely nothing because it is not mentioned anywhere in Scripture. Our salvation is safe in Jesus as long as we are in a saved relationship. All of God's promises are conditional. God's love to us is unconditional, but His promises are conditional, meaning, if you do this, I will do that.. It's as simple as that folks we cannot live in purposeful open disobedient sinful lives and expect to enter into the Kingdom of God...these scripture's concur....• "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:20.
• "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:21.
• "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3.
• "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:13.
• "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16:16.
• "And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." Luke 9:62.
