Our Mission: to connect people to God and a community of support by providing services that address immediate and long-term needs in areas of homelessness, youth development, poverty, and outreach.

Our mission has multiple branches to serve as many people in as many ways possible:

Adopt the Block

an outreach that demonstrates God’s unconditional love to the Des Moines community through practical acts of service.

Dream Kids Closet

Our unique clothing outreach is open to the public by appointment only. Our closet includes new clothing for children ages 0-13. Imagine what a new outfit could do for a child’s confidence.

Dream Kids Mentoring Program

Mentoring is one of the phases of Dream Kids. The Mentoring Program provides a mentor for children ages 6-11 years of age. Kids are paired with responsible adults looking to make a real difference in a young person’s life.

Dream Kids Academics

Students and/or schools are paired up with churches to provide emotional and academic help to struggling students.

Foster Care Intervention

the Dream Center will serve as a liaison to the State of Iowa and the church to help bring hope to the current crisis.

Short Term Missions

Our team will work with your group to train you up to go on local outreaches in our city.

Hot Meals

Hot Meals served for the community. Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm at the New Life Center (1031 23rd St., DSM 50311).

Our Vision: to mobilize the FAITH community to help bring hope, while building a community of resilient people whose lives have been restored by God’s Power. Those that are transformed can go on to share that love with others, pass on the hope and make transformation possible for others.
