The temple will be doing their annual fundraiser for the upkeep of the grounds. We will be selling traditional Lao foods. We are looking for donations of Kow Piek Sien noodles, chicken, Kow Piek Sien toppings (cilantro, green onions, fried onions, etc), and any other foods to donate to sell on behalf of the temple. Looking to find out if there is an interest in starting a Lao Buddhist Study Group. We will go over Buddhist text and learning specific Lao cultural Buddhist connections; such as the meaning of the money tree, beds in the hall, after life, bracelet, thact bact, etc…

It would be a couple of hours once a month to spend time understanding Buddhism in the context of Lao culture and build community and connections at the same time.
