Since 1912, Union has served the Des Moines Community and the East side of Des Moines. The body of believers have strived to have a sense of community as we go about doing the mission, work, and will of the master. We have been blessed to have the same pastor for 45 years and we bless God for the work Dr. Thomas has and continues to do. We look to the future in awe and expectancy of what the Lord has in store.

Visitation: Friday June 12th at 5:00pm
Homegoing: Saturday June 13th at 11:00am
Repass location: Corinthian Baptist Church

All services will be at Lutheran Church of Hope.

There has been a venue change for the location of Vincent Hanna's visitation and HomeGoing Celebration. Please see below and share to help spread the word of the change. We appreciate your assistance.

A visitation to honor Vincent’s memory will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Lutheran Church of Hope, 925 Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a friend’s tribute service at 6:00 p.m. The Homegoing Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Lutheran Church of Hope, with Pastor Jordan Rabon of the King of Kings Baptist Church delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. Repast will be held at Corinthian Baptist Church in Des Moines following his graveside service.
