1. Tithing teaches us to put God first.
“The purpose of tithing is to teach you to always put God first in your lives.”
— Deuteronomy 14:23
It takes faith to give first, not with what's left over.

2. It reminds us that God is our source.
“But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”
— 1 Chronicles 29:14
Every time we tithe, it reminds us our jobs aren't our provider. Paychecks are not your security. God is our source. Everything we have...every dollar, every opportunity, every breath in our lungs...is from Him. When we tithe, we acknowledge God is our provider. We are not losing something we earned. We are returning something He gave.

3. Jesus told us to tithe.
"You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things."
— Matthew 23:23
Yes, you should tithe. But don’t stop there. Tithing isn’t the finish line. It's the starting point. If Jesus told us to tithe, that alone should be enough for us.

4. It breaks our fear and builds up faith.
“'Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says the LORD Almighty, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.'”
— Malachi 3:10
God can do more with 90% and His blessings than we can do with 100% on our own.

5. It connects my resources to eternal impact.
"Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God."
— 2 Corinthians 9:11 NLT
This is what we do. This is heart of our church. We lead the way with irrational generosity.

Golfing helps build a church in Costa Rica.

When you step onto the tee at the 4th Annual MOVE Golf Tournament, every swing, every team, and every registration goes directly toward purchasing building materials for a new church in San Isidro de Upala, Costa Rica.

This is the church plant that grew out of the building MOVE constructed in Nazareth in 2020. Now they need a permanent home — and we’re helping them get it.
