Originally launched as a home church in June 2008, BridgeWay has grown modestly into a diverse group of people from various backgrounds. Ranging from marrieds and singles to young and old, we are a church of many flavors and colors. Although we are small in number, we are big on the Bible, fellowship, and deeds of service. We exist for the serious-minded believer and for those committed to their f

aith and the local assembly. In short, we endeavor to glorify God through song and supplication while edifying believers through study and sacrament. We strive to minister effectively to believers in our community by offering a place of worship where God's Word is taught, His people are embraced, His grace is received, His laws are obeyed, His truths are believed, and His precepts are applied. There is a growing divide that exists in the Church between the forms of Christianity practiced today and that of our Protestant fathers five centuries ago (modernity versus tradition). To many, the local church has abandoned its creedal confessions (of the past) in pursuit of cultural relevance (in the present). At BridgeWay, we seek to "bridge" the divide by offering comprehensive Bible preaching with stylized worship that meets both ends. If you are looking for an intimate church that is Scripture-Focused, God-Centered, and Believer-Oriented, then BridgeWay is the church for you. We invite you to come worship with us on Sunday morning as we bask in the manifest glory of Him who sits sovereignly on the throne.

SUNDAY SERVICE [5/31/26]: "Stumped by the Savior (Part 2)" -- (Luke 20:19-26)

In Luke 20:19–26, the religious leaders try to trap Jesus with a question about paying taxes to Caesar. Knowing their deceitful motives, Jesus asks for a denarius and points to Caesar’s image on the coin, declaring, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” With this wise response, Jesus affirms both the believer’s responsibility to submit to lawful authority and the greater truth that our ultimate allegiance belongs to God, whose image we bear.

SUNDAY SERVICE [5/10/26]: "The Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers" -- (Luke 20:9-18)

The parable of the wicked tenants in Luke 20:9-18 tells the story of a landowner who plants a vineyard, leases it to tenants, and then sends servants to collect some of the fruit at harvest time. Each servant is mistreated—beaten, sent away empty-handed, or even killed—by the tenants. Finally, the landowner sends his own son, thinking they will respect him, but the tenants kill him too, hoping to seize his inheritance. Jesus concludes by warning that the kingdom of God will be taken from those who reject it and given to others who produce its fruits, emphasizing the seriousness of rejecting God’s messengers and the ultimate consequence of unfaithfulness. The parable is a vivid reminder that God expects faithfulness, accountability, and respect for His authority, and that rejecting His Son brings judgment.

SUNDAY SERVICE [5/3/26]: "Stumped By The Savior (Part 1)" -- (Luke 20:1-8)

In Luke 20:1–8, as Jesus teaches in the temple during Passion Week, the religious leaders—chief priests, scribes, and elders—confront Him and demand to know by what authority He acts. Rather than answering directly, Jesus counters with a question about the origin of John the Baptist’s ministry: was it from heaven or from men? The leaders find themselves trapped—if they affirm it was from heaven, they expose their own rejection of John; if they deny it, they risk the anger of the people who regarded John as a prophet. Choosing self-preservation over truth, they claim ignorance. In response, Jesus refuses to answer their question, exposing their unwillingness to acknowledge divine authority and highlighting the spiritual blindness and political calculation that govern their leadership.

SUNDAY SERVICE [4/26/26]: "The Second Temple Cleansing" -- (Luke 19:45-48)

In Luke 19:45–48, the second temple cleansing happens during Jesus’ final week in Jerusalem, right after His triumphal entry. When He enters the temple, He finds people buying and selling and drives them out, saying the temple is meant to be a house of prayer, not a “den of robbers”—drawing on language from Isaiah 56:7 and Jeremiah 7:11. The moment shows His anger at how worship had been corrupted and His authority to confront it.

SUNDAY SERVICE [4/19/26]: "The Triumphal Coronation" -- (Luke 19:28-44)

In Luke 19:28–44, Jesus approaches Jerusalem and deliberately fulfills prophecy by entering the city on a c**t, prompting a joyful crowd of disciples to praise Him as king, declaring peace and glory from God. As He draws near, however, the tone shifts—Jesus weeps over Jerusalem, lamenting that the people did not recognize the time of their visitation and the peace He offers. He foretells the city’s coming destruction because of this spiritual blindness, highlighting both the celebration of His rightful kingship and the deep tragedy of rejection by those He came to save.

BCC STATE OF THE UNION

BCC beloved!

I hope this message finds you well. I’m looking forward to being back with you this Sunday after a whirlwind weekend away last week. We are entering the final stretch of our series in Luke’s Gospel this upcoming Lord’s Day, as Luke 19:28–40 marks the beginning of the final seven days of our Lord’s life, starting with this Sunday’s topic—The Triumphal Entry.

I also want to remind you that shortly following this Sunday’s service, we will be holding our annual church business meeting. The meeting will be brief, I assure you, lasting no longer than 30 minutes. In addition to numbers and charts, we will share a few praise reports with the church regarding our current standing.

All church members are asked to attend as a priority, if possible, since we will be discussing important fiscal matters related to the life and direction of our church. We also warmly invite any regular attendees who are not members to join us, should you feel so inclined.

Thank you for your continued faithfulness, stewardship, and involvement in our church community. We look forward to gathering for both worship and this important time of fellowship and communication.

Two Announcements for Your Consideration

MOVIE NIGHT -- Come join us tomorrow night at 7:00 PM at the church (Friday) for a showing of "Is Genesis History?", a compelling film that examines the biblical, historical, and scientific case for Creation and the Flood. We’ll have popcorn available, and you’re welcome to bring your favorite snacks. This visually engaging movie is both informative and inspiring, helping to deepen confidence in Scripture, bring clarity to the relationship between revelation, science, history, and faith, and thoughtfully address some of life’s more challenging questions. See you tomorrow night!

EASTER SUNDAY -- With a larger crowd expected this Easter, parking may be limited. If you choose to park at the Chinese restaurant next door, please be considerate, as we have not received formal permission. Kindly avoid the spaces directly in front of the restaurant, as those are reserved for their customers. They have graciously allowed us to use their larger side parking area in the past, so we encourage you to park there if needed. We look forward to seeing you Sunday!

SUNDAY SERVICE [3/29/26]: "The Parable of the Minas" -- (Luke 19:1-11-27)

The parable of the minas in Luke 19:11–27 hits with urgency: what God gives you is meant to be used, not buried. Jesus tells of a master who entrusts his servants with resources and then returns expecting results—rewarding bold faithfulness and exposing fearful inaction. The message is sharp and clear: the issue isn’t how much you’ve been given, but what you do with it. Are you risking, growing, and investing your life for God’s kingdom, or playing it safe and calling it faith? When the King returns, excuses won’t matter—only faithfulness will.

SUNDAY SERVICE [3/15/26]: "Jesus & Zacchaeus" -- (Luke 19:1-10)

In Luke 19:1–10, Jesus Christ enters Jericho and seeks out the most unlikely of hearts—Zacchaeus, a wealthy and despised tax collector whose life was built on exploitation. Though hidden in a tree, Zacchaeus is seen, called by name, and invited into grace before he ever has a chance to change, revealing that salvation begins with Christ’s initiative, not our merit. This encounter transforms Zacchaeus from a man of greed into one of radical repentance and restitution, demonstrating that genuine faith produces visible change. Jesus’ declaration that “the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” reminds us that no one is beyond redemption, and that true salvation is not only about being found, but about being made new.
