Mark your calendar and plan to attend to visit with friends, have a great lunch and listen to some amazing music and singing. Then shop a lot at our Silent Auction for some awesome items on Friday, January 30, BCWJC'S Annual Fundraiser, "Soup for the Soul" at New Life Baptist Church from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. A fun time for a GREAT cause: giving a hand up to women in our community through education, job skills and life skills. Beauregard Christian Women's Job Corps will host an ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher Certification Workshop on Friday, Oct. 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 11 from 8:30 a.m to 5 p.m. There is no charge for the class but the book is $20. Please call Peggy at 318-663-0489 for additional information or to register for the class.
