A Heartfelt Thank You from Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Youth Department

What a mighty and beautiful celebration today has been! As we celebrated the 5th Youth Anniversary of the Mt. Zion Youth Department, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every person who came out to worship, celebrate, encourage, and support our youth.

To our Mt. Zion youth, we are so incredibly proud of you! You have done an amazing job today. From the Praise & Worship, Scripture, Prayer, Youth Creed, presentations, and every part you played in this service, you showed dedication, confidence, love, and a heart for God. You are a blessing to this church, and we pray that you will continue to grow in your faith and allow God to use you in mighty ways. You are the future of the church, and we are so proud of you!

To our Youth Choir, thank you for blessing us with your beautiful selections and helping lead us into the presence of God.

To Mykah Scott of her inspirational words, To everyone who shared through Praise Dance, thank you for using your gifts to minister to us. A special thank you to Anointed with Purpose, Sis. Latoya Hammond from Purpose Life Community Church, Eliana Woodberry from Agape, and Caja Mayes. Your ministry blessed us tremendously!

To our guest speakers, Min. Jasper Peters of Sunrise Baptist Church and C.T. Kiely of Westview Baptist Church, thank you for accepting the invitation to celebrate with us and for sharing your Words of Encouragement and Words from the Bible. Your encouragement, wisdom, and messages were a blessing to our youth and to our entire congregation.

We also want to thank everyone who participated in the service from those who shared Scripture and Prayer, to those who gave Greetings and Welcome, led the Altar Prayer, received the offering, made special presentations, and helped make today's program possible.

Thank you to the youth Directors: Bro. Charro Freeman, Sis. Angela Freeman and Sis. Tasha Turner for continuingto pour into our youth! Thank you to our MusicMinistry: Sis. Katrina Chaisson and Genesis Green for all that you do! **Every part mattered!!! Lastly special thanks to DeRidder Sheriff’s Department for taken on making sure that bellies were full of the human food after receiving the spiritual food!

As Youth Directors, we couldn't let our students head back to school without having a little fun first! πŸ˜„ We jumped on the latest trend and asked each of them, "What's your walk-in song for the first day of school?" 🎢

They gave us their picks... but little did they know, we had a surprise waiting! πŸ˜‚ We swapped their songs with a GOSPEL SONG instead! πŸ™ŒπŸŽ€

More than the laughs you will enjoy, we're incredibly proud of each and every one of our youth. As they walk into their classrooms this school year. Our prayer is that they walk with confidence, wisdom, favor, and the presence of God leading every step of the way. β€οΈπŸ™β€οΈ

Yesterday afternoon was a wonderful time of faith, encouragement, and unity at the New Light Missionary & Educational Baptist Association (NLMEBA) Back to School Prayer Rally held at First Baptist Church in DeRidder.

We were blessed to hear encouraging words from our own Pastor Ronald Jarden and other Pastors who reminded everyone to trust God as we begin a new school year and to walk in faith, wisdom, and purpose.

A special thank you to our very own Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Youth Department member Ayden Eaglin for leading us in a heartfelt prayer, asking God's protection, guidance, and blessings over our students, teachers, school staff, administrators, and families throughout Beauregard, Calcasieu, and Vernon Parishes.

Thank you to everyone who came together in prayer as we covered this school year with faith and hope. May God watch over every classroom, every bus ride, every teacher, and every student. Wishing everyone a safe, successful, and blessed school year! πŸ™πŸ“šβ€οΈ

Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Youth Department were excited for their Field Trip, Road Trip to the Main Event in Beaumont, Texas today! πŸ™ŒπŸ½β€οΈπŸ™ŒπŸ½ Our youth group had an AMAZING time! We started bright an early this morning with Breakfast from McDonalds, Van driver, Bro. Charro Freeman and Van DJ, Sis. Angela Freeman had ALL the JAMS! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

While Sis. Tasha Turner and Sis. Sharon Miller-goldwire kept the field trip vibes going in the van by getting the youth talking and enjoying all the FIELD TRIP SUMMER VIBES!🌞

Our youth was able to enjoy an hour of Bowling, Laser Tag, Game Card Play (and let’s not forget the mountains of pizza πŸ•, Sliders, Fries, Nachos, QuesadiΔΊlas, Wings, Nuggets, Fruit and Unlimited DrinksπŸ˜„), every moment was filled with Laughter, Connection, and God’s Joy!!! 😍😍

We thank God for blessing us with fun, friendship, and a whole lot of unforgettable memories with our youth department! πŸ’™βœοΈπŸ’™
