Youth Sunday with Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Youth Department on Mother's Day!💐

What a beautiful day in the Lord! 🙌🏽 Today, our youth led us in a spirit-filled Youth Sunday service.😍😍😍

We came together in unity and purpose, wearing our PINK shirts and shining bright for Christ!😍😍😍

Our youth led with boldness, grace, and a heart for God. Each one played a special role in making today meaningful:

Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Youth Department would like to thank EVERYONE for either purchasing, donating or contributing to our 2nd Quarter Fundraiser for 2026!!!🥳🥳🥳

We were able to sale 60 plates 🙌🏽 We are Giving all the Glory and Honor to God!🙌🏽 If you missed this Fish Plate Fundraiser you definitely missed a treat! ❤️❤️

Our Fish Plates included 2 Filets of Catfish, Dirty Rice, Green Beans, Slice of Bread, Dessert and a bottle of water! 😋😋😋

Tonight was one for the books! 🐣 We celebrated Easter with our amazing youth, and it was filled with so much joy, laughter, and togetherness. 🙌🏽

We also made sure that we dropped off a gift to one of youth members to their place of employment!🥰🥰🥰

From good food that kept everyone coming back for seconds to games and moments that had us all smiling ear to ear, it was truly a night to remember.❤️❤️❤️

We also congratulated and blessed our 3 Straight A's youth members on their report card with a little 💵💲💰: Jalana Island, Trinity Lewis and Payshance Provost! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

More than just the fun, it was about connection and building memories, strengthening friendships, and celebrating the hope and new life that Easter brings. Grateful for every laugh, every conversation, and every full belly in the room tonight. 😍😍😍

Last night, we witnessed God working through Tasha Turner in such a beautiful and powerful way. She didn’t just speak words...she shared her heart, her faith, and her obedience to God.

The message she delivered met our youth right where they are, reminding them that they are seen, loved, and purposefully created by God. We are grateful for her willingness to be used by the Holy Spirit and for the seeds of truth and hope that were planted last night. May God continue to bless the work He is doing through her and through our youth as they grow in faith.
