Today is the third Sunday of Advent! We light the third candle on the Advent wreath: the pink candle, often called the Shepherd's Candle, which symbolizes joy. Like the shepherds who heard the good news and hurried to Bethlehem, we're reminded that joy is a response to God drawing close.

This Gaudete Sunday, let joy take its rightful place in your Advent. Not as an escape from reality, but as a steady confidence: Christ is coming. Christ is near.

Where is God inviting you to choose joy—right in the midst of your waiting? 🕯️✨
