Join us for our first Shabbat in the Park of the season next Friday, June 5, 6:00 p.m. at Montclair Park! BYO lawn chair or blanket to this gathering for some Shabbat song, spirit, and story with special guest Ev Evnen. Feel free to bring a picnic and hang out after services.

Ev Evnen (they/them) is a cantorial and rabbinic student at the ALEPH Ordination Program. As a spiritual leader, Ev strives to cultivate joyful praise and awe-filled wonder, using music to elevate our neshamot (souls) higher and higher. They believe in making the joys of Judaism accessible to those who have often been pushed to the margins, such as q***r and trans Jews, converts, or patrilineal Jews. Ev hopes that you will find humor, rich and accessible music, and kavanah (intention) that invites you to try on something new.

Happy Memorial Day weekend! Now that we're all in summer mode, make sure you mark your calendars for our "Many Voices, One Micah!" summer series as we welcome a dynamic lineup of guest rabbinic/cantorial students and Micah teachers to lead Shabbat services and Tisch (Torah study) while Rabbi Mo is on leave. And for Pride Month, we're showing the film Sabbath Queen on June 7!

We invite you to explore, learn, and connect - grounded in our shared values and strengthened by new insights. These services and events are open to all, so please share and invite friends/family!
