Join us this Friday, June 19, at 6:00 p.m. at Montclair Park for Shabbat in the Park led by Yael Shalom and Hal Aqua! BYO lawn chair or blanket. If possible, please wear sandals to feel the grass and stand for some meditation and grounding. Feel free to bring a picnic and hang out after services.

Happy Summertime from your Micah Board!

It's the time of year for poolside schvitzes, mountain schleps, backyard noshes...aaaaaand...the Temple Micah Annual Meeting of course! We can't wait to share all your temple's updates and progress with you. Join us June 23, 6:00 p.m. at Temple Micah's mikdash or on Zoom (https://tr.ee/JqxUQh).

Why should you attend? You love Micah and all its magical people. You have made a congregational commitment to stay well-informed and communicative in your relationship with your temple. You want Temple Micah to continue to be strong and vibrant for a long, long time. Also...free food! (light snack and bevies will be provided)

Jokes aside, we and many others have done incredible work this year to evolve our temple, and there are some wonderful new happenings to share, from updates on the Mikdash design to the new summer series, to changes in religious school, and the list goes on. It's all very exciting and important. We'll also share information about the temple's finances, and we want to hear from you as well!

Please come and connect with your fellow congregants, share ideas with everyone, and get yourself up to speed.

Our “Many Voices, One Micah!” summer series continues this Saturday, June 13. Join us for Shabbat Morning Service at 9:00, followed by Tisch at 10:00 in the Mikdash, featuring some familiar faces: Uri Ayn Rovner and David Ross! Bring friends and family and get ready for reflection, music, and a thoughtful and engaging discussion.

Naomi Fireman Schiavoni, a Temple Micah Religious School alumna, recently completed her junior year at Scripps College in Claremont, California. She completed a research project centered on representations of Palestine in the western media that she wants to share with the Temple Micah community.
