Here is your weekly encouragement to consider hosting a get-together for your neighbors around the week of National Good Neighbor Day.

The challenge is to host a simple driveway gathering with a few neighbors on or around September 28th. You can sign up to host a gathering, and VIA will send you some neighboring resources leading up to the day. Our goal is to have 20 driveways participating!

There are people in our neighborhoods looking for connection and support. VIA helps churches and community groups sharpen their neighboring skills through engaging workshops and neighboring initiatives. Support an Adult

When you volunteer in our Caring Connections Program, you’ll spend one hour a week developing a one-on-one supportive relationship with a senior or person with a disability. Typical activities include visiting, picking up groceries, reading mail, or going for a walk.

We are looking for volunteers willing to mentor students at Ellis Elementary. Volunteers will meet with one student for one hour, once a week, for one school year!
