14 Missionaries. One Heart to Serve.
Michael, Leane, Adam, Cindy, Ruben, Alicia, Justine, Brian, Agustin, Shauna, Eli, Nicole, Jude, and Elena.
Fourteen people from different generations, professions, backgrounds, and languages brought together by one shared calling: to serve, to love, and to be a blessing to the communities of Vieques and San Juan.
Each person came with different gifts, experiences, and stories, but together they became one team. Their hands painted the façade of a food bank, repaired a roof, created beautiful woodwork, and brought creativity and joy through music and art workshops at a local school. Their hearts reached out through visits to a senior center, ministry at local churches, and participation in a pastors’ conference.
What may have looked like simple acts of service became opportunities to bring hope, encouragement, dignity, and love to others. Every brushstroke, every repaired board, every conversation, every prayer, and every shared moment was a reminder that when we place what God has given us into His hands, He can use even the simplest acts to make a lasting difference in someone else’s life.
This mission trip was more than a week of activities. It was a beautiful picture of what happens when people come together with willing hearts and a shared purpose.
Different gifts. Different stories. One mission. One God. One heart to serve.
To everyone who participated, prayed, encouraged, gave, and served: Thank you! Your willingness to go and your love for others made this journey truly special.
And this is only the beginning!
Stay tuned for our mission trip recap video, where we’ll share the stories, the laughter, the hard work, and the unforgettable moments that made this mission so meaningful.
