CASA LOMA RESIDENTS AND FAMILY CHRISTMAS
La Familia Ministries is truly blessed to begin creating a seniors' and family outreach ministry initiative called "Seniors-N-Kids." Starting with Casa Loma, one of many Denver Housing Authority seniors' apartment complexes, we will expand Father's Heart and host an event at Casa Loma for its senior residents and their grandchildren.

The Denver Housing Authority is not directly affiliated with this initiative and assumes no liability. This is an independent outreach effort. The DHA's role is strictly limited to granting permission and facility access to La Familia and its volunteers. This enables us to serve meals to grandparents and grandchildren, host children's activities and entertainment, and distribute toys to the children on behalf of Casa Loma’s resident grandparents.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND SPONSORS
Casa Loma is in the Northside, located at W. 38th and Alcott. That's where we start from. La Familia is inviting business community partners, financial sponsors, and community volunteers, especially those who do business on that area, and those who live, grew up, or have history in the Northside, to get involved and support the effort.

Seniors continue to be a focus and part of the community worth supporting. For those interested, please call 303-437-0162. For financial sponsors, we have fact sheet budget information available. Call the same number or DM an info request with an email address to send the information.

Those interested in supporting can also consider supporting by purchasing tickets and attending our New Year's Eve fundraising event, the Pachuco Ball New Year's Eve Fundraising Gala. Tickets for VIP Tables and Regular Reserved seating tables are now on sale. Call 303-437-9152 for more info.

Send them! The Father's Heart Denver team is now registering kids for the 2026 Christmas toy distribution. We can accept 400 registrations for kids ages 4-12. All kids must be registered. We encourage single parents, grandparents raising kids, and families who could use a little help this year to register.

We are expanding opportunities for local businesses, community partners, and area residents to make a difference. A MESSAGE OF HOPE: NO THREAT IS BIGGER THAN GOD
The sign in this post points to a profound and hopeful shift currently unfolding within the world of Christianity. Across diverse traditions, believers are increasingly willing to step forward to reaffirm the timeless teachings of Jesus Christ, championing human dignity, love, and justice for all people as opposed to simply maintaining indifference toward dealing with racism and allowing it to be wrapped in scripture as "Christian."

At its core, this movement is rooted in the enduring truth that no political shift, cultural challenge, or human failing can overshadow God's ultimate authority and grace, and His love and focus for the most vulnerable and marginalized.

Anchored in Christ's Call to Love
The heart of the Christian message has always belonged to the marginalized, the vulnerable, and the "least of these." As Jesus reminded all those who would follow Him in Matthew 25:40:

"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

This powerful reminder and the hopeful shift that it may be signaling call believers back to a standard of radical empathy, compassion, and unwavering human dignity. When Christians and communities of faith refocus on these foundational principles, they become beacons of light and healing.

Pray for a steady light in turbulent times. When Christians and faith communities cut through the noise of polarization and anchor themselves in the Gospels, the church fulfills its true purpose—offering a sanctuary of healing, unity, and hope rather than judgment.

Pray for a refocusing of the message, that prioritizing the teachings of Christ over worldly divisions and the convenient application of scripture for the wrong reasons ensures churches and the pulpit return to, or remain, being places of spiritual transformation and peace.

Pray for wisdom and compassion in Christian leadership, that not only pastors but all who have drifted from the knowledge of Jesus, his love, his life, his ministry, and his example, return to him - that embodying the love and humility of Jesus draws people together through understanding rather than driving them apart through condemnation, that churches retuen to being sanctuaries of hope: churchesthat are grounded in grace and who serve as steady, reassuring lights for communities navigating uncertain days.

"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:16

Moving Forward in Faith
The challenges of any era cannot diminish the enduring power of Christ's message. By choosing grace over judgment and love over division, believers will show their collective ability to demonstrate a resilient faith capable of healing hearts and uniting communities. Christianity is not under attack as many claim, no more than it has ever been.. Rather, it is the grace of God calling believers, AGAIN, to a renewed opportunity to realign with the instructions and model that Jesus came to give us. Salvation, value for humanity and human dignity, compassion, focus, ministry and God's love have no racism, no judgement, no condemnation, and no hatred in them, they are not part of the equation oof the love of God.

CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM AND COMMUNITY LEVEL CHURCHES
They are running out of excuses, false doctrine, and abuse of interpretation of scripture to justify their betrayal of Christ, his example, his ministry, his life, and the love of God.

Putin just issued a direct threat to Europe and our NATO allies to use nuclear weapons against them. It is the outset, and time for MAGA Pastors and Christians to anty up, walk the talk, and prepare their sons, daughters, grandsons, and granddaughters to put on the uniform and be the first on the frontlines of the coming war.

Whether you are a Christian, or not, and not a member of a religious Christian cult, if you're ever sitting in a church service and the Pastor begins to praise or lift Trump up, ignore or begin to make excuses for his history of the r**e and sexual abuse of women and children, you should consider immediately getting up from where you're sitting and leaving and never returning as well as sharing the experience with your families.

There are still Christian churches that focus on teaching accurate doctrine, and not politics. There are still Pastors who value the word and love of God, the example of Christ, and love for people above politics or a demagogue.
