The construction phase of Open Arms is about 90% completed. Work on putting in flooring, painting, and furnishings has begun . Landscaping will begin soon. Our goal is to have everything ready for final permitting during August and opening in early September.

The project is 80% of the way to completion. The parking lot is being replaced this week.

Don't forget to join us on the tours that will be conducted on Saturday, June 13 from 11 AM to 2 PM.

We will be resuming Sunday worship services on June 14 at 9:30.

For over fifty years, St. Andrew Lutheran Church has given its best to share the love of God in Christ Jesus. In the past, we touched the lives of many through our school. Today, we are retuning our work through the Open Arms Assisted Living residence.

Open Arms Assisted Living at St. Andrew Lutheran Church

St. Andrew is re-purposing the vacant school-side of our building into an Assisted Living Residence for low-income seniors. This facility is an innovative effort to keep St. Andrew 's mission aligned with the needs of our community. Open Arms will provide a 30-bed person-centered care environment to a under-served group in our community. It will also enable the congregation to use a number of the new resources to build relationships in our mission field and enhance our outreach efforts. The project includes a number of improvements to the church-side of the building as well. Open Arms incorporates a number of ground-breaking elements, including state of the art telehealth facilities. After years of planning and preparation, construction began in December 2019 and we look forward to opening in the late summer.
