Note to self: Reading through the (AME ZION) Communion Ritual. A thought about the word intention (in Bishop Hunter’s voice) started to write on me. Intention is an essential part of our action process. Our intention is linked to our purpose. Dr. William L. Wainwright used to emphasize that one line during communion service. He would say, “…AND INTEND (X3) to live a new life!” When we say GOD knows my heart, you better believe GOD KNOWS YOUR HEART! Everyone else is just guessing! Don't be afraid of the meanest intentions. Why, because even if the enemy INTENDS it for evil GOD INTENDS it for good! Today, be intentional! God will be too!
