Shavuot celebrates the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai and encourages us to be inspired by the wisdom Jewish tradition has to offer. In ancient times, it also marked the end of the spring barley harvest and the beginning of the summer wheat harvest in the land of Israel. Today, it is a celebration of Torah, education, and the choice to participate actively in Jewish life.

Join us tonight at Rodef Shalom Synogogue at 6:30pm for Tikkun Leyl Shavuot, and tomorrow morning at 11:00am at Temple for Shavuot morning and Yizkor Service!

Join our Temple Clergy for An All-night Immersive Shavuot Experience this Thursday at Congregation Rodef Shalom! We'll kick-off the evening with dinner, followed by the annual sermon-off featuring elected officials and local Rabbis. Engaging, diverse classes will be offered throughout the evening as well as scrumptious snacks including ice cream sundaes at midnight and bottomless coffee to keep you fueled all night long.
