People ask will Pentecost ever happen again? It will if you come to church with high expectations of God. Come to church knowing the world has not slipped beyond Gods control. So don’t be fooled our God "neither sleeps nor slumbers”.

So come to church and expect God to show up and show out at any time. Especially on May the 24th, 2026, The Day of Pentecost. Remember when you break down the phrase "worship attendance”, the word attendance can describe what you expect from worship. Attendance means attend and dance with the Spirit of God!

This Sunday, we gather to celebrate Ascension Sunday, the moment when the risen Christ was lifted up into heaven following his final time with the disciples in Acts 1:1–11.

Yet the Ascension is not simply the conclusion of Jesus’ earthly ministry—it is a turning point filled with promise and an invitation for us today: an invitation to remember that moments of transition are also moments of holy possibility. As we continue our own season of transition and look ahead to the next chapter in the life of our congregation, we trust that Christ is still leading and guiding the Church with hope and purpose.

Join us Sunday as we worship God together and open our hearts to the new possibilities Christ sets before us. Our guest preacher this week is Rev. Jessica Rooks, District Superintendent, and we look forward to hearing a good word from her.

In addition, this Sunday we will celebrate the amazing impact of Trinity Second Century Foundation. This year, grants totaling $124,000 were awarded to nonprofits working to address critical community needs including supportive housing, housing stability, and food insecurity. You can read more about the Trinity Second Century Foundation here, and you are invited to join us for a special check presentation with several grant recipients following the 11:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday.

Come and be part of this meaningful day of worship, celebration, and shared mission together.

See you Sunday in-person or online!
