May 31 Christ in the Psalms is back! This year we are in Psalms 11-20. In addition to sermons on Sundays, another big element is our Christ in the Psalms Weekly Art Exhibition.

What is the Christ in the Psalms Art Exhibition? This is where 10 artists from Park Church will create works based on individual psalms using 18” x 18” wood panels.

This year we are inviting visual artists and poets to get involved! The artwork will be displayed in the church during the corresponding week of each psalm’s sermon.

Join us this week as we walk through the two halves of One Story.

On Friday we will remember, consider, and dwell with the cross of Christ. We will gather and recount the moments of the Passion narrative through readings together with worship.

This evening ends in the silence of Good Friday that will be broken by the eruption of joy on Easter Sunday.

On this Sunday, join us to witness the empty tomb of Jesus together, and what that means for us, and for all of creation as we consider the reality of the resurrection.

GOOD FRIDAY / EASTER

Holy Week is two Sundays away. Join us as we gather for Palm Sunday on March 29, and reflect upon the “Hosanna” of Jesus’s triumphal entry.

We will then gather on Friday, April 3, Good Friday, to sit and allow the Scriptures to take us to the scene of our Lord’s betrayal, arrest, trial, crucifixion and burial.

Finally join us on April 5, as we come together for the deep celebration of Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday!

Leader Equip is a community-based, practice-oriented training for Covenant Members of Park Church, designed to help us become more like Jesus and to guide others toward the same vision.

Together, we’ll explore six overlapping aspects of how we understand people grow and are transformed over time in the way of Jesus.

Over seven weeks, we’ll gather to share a meal, engage Scripture and theology, discuss what we’re learning, and pursue tangible practices that help orient our lives toward a God-shaped life. We’ll also hear from trusted leaders in and around our community, including Kevin Butcher, Jen Oshman, and Brian Gray.
